WordPress CMS Websites Designed and Developed by Corrie D Marketing

Project Summary –  Shuttle Buses and Shuttle Coaches

The Brief – Ayrshire bus and coach hire company based in Kilwinning, Ayrshire were looking for a NEW truly mobile responsive, CMS website with a bespoke contact form for the coach hire site and eBrochure to showcase their timetables for the local bus routes, to allow their passengers to visit the website to view their timetables online.

It became clear at the outset after our intial meeting and identifying the key areas, they were looking to promote separate sides of the business with very different functions at this point it appeared that it would be better to separate the two seperate sides of the business into two websites.

Their old website was tired and outdated and wasn’t mobile responsive. Due to changes to Google alogorithm back in April 2015 this meant Google was optimising websites that were responsive higher up google rankings (SEO) than websites that weren’t responsive.

By creating two sites, would allow them to transform the coach hire business from an offline business to an online business and create the bespoke customised contact forms for the coach hire business.

The Shuttle Buses website is for bus hire (local council & SPT contracts) where people can view their local bus timetables online.

And the coach-hire side of the business Shuttle Coaches website was aimed more commercial markets so coach hire for the private and public sector and was more of a commercial venture to B2C sector aimed at eg sports teams, educational establishments ie Schools and colleges. People who were looking for coach hire for days or nights out and for businesses looking for corporate hire.

After the initial brief Corrie D Marketing identified it would be best to create two new state of the art, truly mobile responsive websites for their bus hire and coach hire businesses.

As they are targeting very different audiences and target markets.

“The sales information was on point. BOTH websites have exceeded expectations. The websites fulfilled our business goals and objectives as it helps us to focus on target markets,  the objectives was to launch two websites and run them side by side simultaneously, with the longer term objective being for coaches to overtake the buses website. No areas were missed the content is targeted appropriately at the target market.

The level of customer service is brilliant and we especially like the fact that they are on hand 24/7 which we have found to be a fantastic USP. We would definitely recommend Corrie D Marketing to other businesses and have rated the overall experience as EXCELLENT. We will definitely be using their services again as we’ve signed up to an annual contract for website hosting and management.”

“Multi-platform, multi-media opportunities translate into multi-choices. Social media and the Internet, in general, have turned life into an interconnected open-book exam - a sharp and important difference from the closed-book-exam shape of traditional research. (via Warc).”

“Effective marketing is really quite simple: Identify your destination (goals). Determine how best to get there (strategy). Get started (tactics). Measure your progress (reporting and analysis). Make course corrections as needed (continuous improvement).”
